54th Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival, October 17 & 18, One of America’s Most Iconic Festivals Returns “CELEBRATING THE GREAT & ALMIGHTY GOURD”        

The World Pumpkin Capital of Half Moon Bay celebrates its bountiful fall harvest and autumn splendor at the annual Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival.

One of America’s most iconic festival brands, the all-star lineup includes over 250 booths showcasing handcrafted works from talented artists creating fine art and home décor to functional items and eye-catching wearables. In addition, take keepsake photos with the gargantuan grand champion mega-gourd, find a spectacular display of Volkswagen-sized heavyweight champion pumpkins, smashing entertainment with four stages of stellar live music, the fantastically fun home-spun Great Pumpkin Parade, stunning harvest-inspired art and fine crafts, delectable homestyle foods, premium wines, seasonal craft beer, pumpkin-infused ales, pumpkin-flavored artisan cocktails, expert pumpkin carver Farmer Mike (“the Picasso of pumpkin carvers”) sculpting monster pumpkins into amazing one-of-a-kind masterpieces, pie-eating and costume contests, pumpkin carving for fun, the Take 5 Lounge with giant screen TV, selfies and fun with the delightfully rotund, playful and mischievous Pumpkin Festival mascot “Gourdy”, the Sunday-only “Made on the Coast” local artists block with art and live music, an organic and green products showcase, health and wellness displays, home and garden exhibits plus awesome sponsor product samples and swag giveaways. VEHICLE PARKING
There are several acres of vehicle parking at the south end of Main Street, where Higgins-Purissima Road intersects with Highway 1, Half Moon Bay High School (Main St. just north of Hwy. 92), Our Lady of the Pillar Church and the Community Center/Shoreline Station complex, both located on Kelly Avenue just east of Highway 1. Many parking lots are operated by local non-profit groups who charge a nominal parking fee, and there is very limited, free parking on several side streets.
